HYPOGLYCAEMIA

Picture
The word hypoglycaemia means a low blood sugar.
This is a reading below 4.

What causes hypoglycaemia?

Delayed meals, snacks, too much insulin, too much exercise without sufficient carbohydrates.
Vomiting and diarrhoea.

Symptons.

Sweating; feeling irritable, moody; light headed; poor concentration; dizziness; blurry vision; headache; shakes.

If your child doesn't have something sugary the hypo will become more serious.  Your child could become aggressive and confused.  Some children have fits and convulsions.
